Facade Systems
Curtain wall, composite cladding and thermal insulation — the building's first defence against climate and time.
What we do
Aluminium curtain walling, composite panel cladding, natural stone and ceramic facades, external thermal insulation systems, glazing and joinery installation, facade access and scaffolding solutions.
How we work
Two things decide facade quality: waterproofing detail and dimensional accuracy. Site measurements are taken after the building envelope is complete and fabrication follows them — manufacturing to drawing dimensions causes installation problems because of site tolerance. Mock-ups are built for critical details and water tightness is tested.
Standards
Facade systems are sized to wind load calculations; air and water tightness and structural performance are verified using the test approach in EN standards.
Facade hoists and suspension systems, aluminium fabrication workshop, vacuum glass handling equipment, tightness test units. Mock-ups are standard on critical projects.
Work at height and falling materials are the main risks; suspension systems are inspected periodically and the zone below is secured. Installation stops when wind speed limits are exceeded.
Prequalification & survey
We review the tender documents, visit the site and put the existing conditions and the client's expectations in writing.
Quantities & proposal
We produce item-based quantities and present a proposal with a clearly defined scope; exclusions are stated explicitly.
Planning & permits
A single programme, the resource plan and required permit processes are set up.
Execution
The site is mobilized; infrastructure and buildings proceed on one schedule and are reported regularly.
Handover
The snag list is closed and as-built documents are handed over.
Can an existing building's facade be renewed?
Yes. Renewal follows an assessment of the structure and existing anchorage capacity; work can be phased while the building remains in use.
Is thermal insulation applied together with the cladding?
It depends on the system. In curtain walling insulation sits in the back-up layer; in external insulation systems the finish and insulation are one system.
