The project and engineering study of the factory structure for an insulation material manufacturer in Bursa.
The structure was designed to consolidate the production hall, administrative block, and shipping area into a single mass. The administrative unit was acoustically and thermally separated from production but kept in a position overlooking the production area.
Determinants of Industrial Structure
Free span, column axes, and floor loads were determined according to the production layout. The truck maneuvering and loading ramp were positioned in a way that would not disrupt internal circulation.
Facade
Vertical metal cassette cladding and shading cage provide a corporate appearance to the industrial mass while reducing solar gain.
