Turnkey construction of the conference and meeting section of a corporate campus in the capital of Niger, Niamey.
The project started with a site study and assessment of the existing conditions; then the architectural implementation project, acoustic solution, and interior construction works were carried out under a single contract.
Central scope: main conference hall
The main hall was resolved with a stage-focused curvilinear acoustic ceiling and wooden lamella wall cladding. The tiered seating arrangement was designed to avoid obstructing the stage view from the back rows; walkways were separated with non-slip surfaces and carpet strips.
Meeting and hospitality floors
Next to the hall, there are meeting rooms of various sizes, a reception area, a cafeteria, and a fully equipped industrial kitchen. The flow between the kitchen and the service area was planned so that staff and guest circulation would not intersect.
Execution
The mechanical and electrical infrastructure (ventilation, lighting scenario, audio/video infrastructure) was coordinated with the architectural construction; finishing works were completed under a single contractor's responsibility.
